ID.me is a federally recognized identity provider. Verifying once binds your legal name to your Millhouse account, so the platform can confirm that only the real owner of record is taking action on a property.

Does Millhouse replace my title insurance or county deed?

No. Your county deed and any title insurance you hold remain the source of truth. Millhouse adds a custody layer on top so you always know the current state of your title and can react quickly to anything unusual.

Which counties are supported?

The MVP supports Pinal County, Arizona. Additional counties will be added based on demand and county-data availability.

What happens if my name on the county record doesn't match my ID.me verification?

We won't add the property to your account. Names are normalized to handle small formatting differences, but a true mismatch is treated as a security event and logged. Update your legal name with the county or re-verify with ID.me, then try again.

How do I unlock a title for transfer?

Accepted Answer

Open the property, toggle 'Allow transfer', and re-enter your password. Once eligible, you can record a transfer request to a recipient, then mark it complete or cancel it at any time. Re-locking is a single click.

Can someone else change my settings if they get into my email?

Sensitive actions like unlocking a title require your password in addition to your active session. If you suspect compromise, sign out from Account, change your password, and review your activity log immediately.

Is my data private?

Yes. Only you can see your properties, documents, and transfers. Public lookups by parcel number return only the address, county, and lock status — never your identity, documents, or notes.
